I bought this dvd player because it has the on-board speakers. My kids don't tolerate headphones, so it seemed like a cheap alternative to routing all sound through my car speaker system. The dvd system looks great and was an easy installation. It worked fine for a while. That was until it stopped working. 4 short months later, I got the blue screen of death and am unable to retrieve the dvd that is in the slot since it's a motorized slot loading dvd player. Sorry kids, but we'll have to buy another copy of Toy Story. I called Pyle Audio in New York and got a very rude New Yorker who transferred my to another guy who told me just to ship it back with a 15 dollar check. He quickly gave me the address and hung up the phone. Buyer Beware if you buy a Pyle Audio product. Very rude and abrupt customer service, no technical support.
